I'm a sociable, intelligent caring guy who believes relationships should be built upon honesty, mutual respect and loyalty and should be worked at through all the good times, and bad, in a supportive manner. I'm an easy going guy, I have my opinions but respect others as well. I believe I'm a fairly normal, enjoying social occasions, being with my children, family and friends, dining out & in, pubs, theatres, good food, conversation, reading, sport (playing & watching) music, live music & entertainment, cinema, etc. I've also recently taken up dancing ceroc, which seems good fun but not so easy without a partner.

By profession I am a Chartered Surveyor and currently in a management role working throughout north kent

I was fortunate enough to have been in a happy marriage for many years; but am now a widower - It's strange how plans do not work out as expected. I've been on my own for the last 3 years.

For kicks I race sailing dinghies, enjoy yachting & most watersports and am up for most outdoor activities, I'm reasonably adventurous & generally enjoy being active and/or busy trying to gain something or acheive something eachday. I enjoy travelling and am looking forward to seeing new places throughout the world, not done as much as hoped in recent times due to circumstances. I generally prefer active holidays be it sight seeing, exploring new places/cultures or taking part in activities, water sports, walking, treking cycling etc

My ideal match would probably be successful , having acheived something she is proud of, possibly a professional person or someone who has worked their way up their chosen career path, but overall content with life and ready to move on and commit to a new relationship.
